ABOUT BOB CHADDERDON
Photographer
Bob's photography journey began decades ago
shortly after Mathew Brady documented the
Civil War. After earning an engineering degree
and enjoying a successful 35-year career in the
electrical industry, Bob returned to his passion
for photography by opening a studio focused on
portrait and general photography.
Deciding running a full time studio wasn’t really
retirement, he and his wife chose to explore the
world, ultimately visiting all seven continents and
57 countries. When at home, Bob enjoys a quieter
lifestyle, often reflecting on his travels while
occasionally staring out the window to see who has the nerve to park in front
of his house. Though he occasionally tries to persuade his wife of his need for
new photographic equipment, he typically finds such discussions futile.
Bob generously shares his talent as a volunteer photographer for the York
Symphony Orchestra. In this role, he captures the vibrant energy and artistic
expression of live performances. His unique blend of experience and dedication
to the arts continues to enrich both his life and the community around him.
